CABIN
One mile off the beaten path accessible only by foot or ATV you will find this beautiful hand crafted log cabin. Nestled on a hillside above a peaceful meandering stream one can sit on the cabin porch and dream about a time not long ago when life seemed to move at a little slower pace. Surrounded by old growth timber and abundant wildlife you may find it hard to return to the civilized world after a weekend stay.
Inside the cabin most of the log furniture was crafted by the Hunter family using salvaged logs and lumber. A very spacious great room with a large fireplace is just the place to sit by on a cold winter evening, or you may find sitting around the large maple slab table and playing cards with love ones and family without the interference from our technological world would be icing on a perfect day.
If trail walking is your idea of exercise and enjoyment, you will love the 6 plus miles of trails that lead from the cabin's porch in all directions. Most trails are moderate to easy--with many 200 year plus old growth hardwoods abundant all around.
We do rent the cabin out for seasonal hunting. Please call ahead and check on availability. Come and visit this pristine slice of what Pre-colonial Ohio looked liked. We are confident that once you pay us a visit--you will be back.

Hunters and Campers must provide their own bedding. Firewood will be provided at the cabin.
